Industrial use of the AAS submodel Intelligent Information for Use (based on iiRDS)
Harald Stadlbauer is General Manager of the NINEFEB Group of companies, dedicated to the advancement of Technical Communication, like Technical Documentation as well as eLearning, the intelligent context-related delivery of it. Harald has a track record of Project and Product Management in Robotics and Automation technology up to his role as Vice President Business Development in Telecommunications.
He is actively engaged in developing iiRDS further as well as contributing to the AAS (Asset Administration Shell) submodels of the IDTA (Industrial Digital Twin Association). He was the owner of the AAS Submodel “Intelligent Information for Use”.
The talk will present how and where the AAS Submodel «Intelligent Information for Use» with iiRDS (Intelligent Information Request and Delivery Standard) inside empowers the AAS for contextual and targeted information provisioning as well as a trust layer for using AI, taking examples from a PoC with Sandvik
Thorsten Jankowski | Portfolio Development | EPLAN
For most of his professional career, Thorsten Jankowski worked in product management or corporate IT roles. In every area, data consistency was always the biggest challenge. In his current role in the Eplan portfolio development department, he engages the AAS topics a lot
With the integration of product change notifications, Eplan has published the first relevant business case, thereby taking an important step toward making ASSs market-ready.
With this move, Eplan aims to continue working toward its goal of achieving data consistency across company and application boundaries.
