Controls Lead Engineer with more than 20 years of Subsea experience, most of the carrier working at Technip FMC as Product engineer and Controls lead and the last 4 years on Jansz-Io Subsea Compression project as Controls Lead and Controls Project Manager Deputy. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Control System Engineering Manager with Aker Solutions, with 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, predominantly as Controls Test Lead roles on both the Åsgard Subsea Compression and Jansz-Io Subsea Compression project. A structured, dedicated, and customer focused engineer, with a passion for music and outdoor activities when not working.

L. Sadi-Haddad was born in the suburb of Paris, France. He received his Master’s degree from the engineering school in electronics and electrotechnology (ESIEE) and his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the university of science and technology of LILLE in 2003. The main field of interest are electronics and embedded systems, power electronic, electrical machines, and drive systems. The author is the Electrical R&D Manager, is currently at SKF Magnetic Mechatronics.

Eva-Maria Pfeifroth is an Application Engineer for Subsea Automation at Bosch Rexroth AG, specializing in electric actuation technology for subsea systems. With 10 years of experience in drive and control technology, she focuses on electric actuation solutions that help operators address real challenges while maximizing the value of existing subsea assets.
Her work is centered on smart, fast, cost-effective, and standardized solutions that accelerate the transition to all-electric subsea infrastructure. A particular focus is the electrification of brownfield developments, enabling operators to extend asset life and unlock additional value from existing assets.
Eva is passionate about making innovative technology accessible and creating value for customers through innovation and close collaboration across the subsea industry. She believes that successful innovation is driven by strong partnerships throughout the supply chain to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with market needs.
She has presented at leading industry conferences, including the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) and the Deepwater Development Conference, sharing her expertise on subsea electrification, electric actuation, and industry collaboration.

Andrew Stroud is an experienced subsea engineering leader, with 32 years in the industry,  specialising in technology development and project delivery. He has recently completed Ormen Lange Subsea Gas compression project  and as Subsea and pipelines lead at Norske Shell he drives technical excellence and collaboration across subsea disciplines.. He is passionate about innovation, reliability and innovative contracting within the energy sector.

Lorenzo Rossano graduated in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and has been working in the valve industry for more than 15 years. Since 2016, his focus has been on embedded fluid control systems, smart devices, and IoT ecosystems for industrial applications.

In 2021, he joined Advanced Technology Valve SpA as Electronic Engineering Manager, where he leads the R&D program for electronic and mechatronic products, including all-electric actuators and health monitoring systems for subsea valves.

Lorenzo is also a member of the API SC17 Subsea Production Systems Committee.
