Price Increase from August 15
Low Membership Fees
NFEA members have expressed a desire for low membership fees, accepting slightly higher costs when participating in events. Since members receive substantial discounts on our events, the membership fee is quickly offset when a company participates.
Since the pandemic, we have experienced a steady increase in the prices we pay to hotels for hosting our courses and conferences. Additionally, the general price inflation in recent years has been substantial. However, our conference prices have remained nearly unchanged since 2018.
Price Increase from August 15
To continue hosting courses and conferences at hotels that meet our quality standards, we now need to increase our prices, effective from August 15.
The conference participation fee will now be 9,000 NOK for members and 11,000 NOK for non-members. Many suppliers wish to showcase their products at our conferences. The price for an exhibition will be 11,000 NOK, while an exhibition with a logo will cost 15,000 NOK. The participation fee is additional, as it is today.
Our Revenue
NFEA derives its revenue from membership fees and participation fees for our events. Additionally, some member companies choose to contribute extra to the association by being partners, main sponsors, or sponsors.
As a non-profit professional organization, we have no owners looking to profit from us. We also do not aim to accumulate large surpluses but to reinvest good results back into our members. However, we must maintain sufficient equity to operate safely and professionally, both as a service provider and an employer.
